A REVIEW ON FUNDAMENTAL STUDY OF COMBUSTION AT MICROGRAVITY CONDITIONS

  • Fundamental studies of combustion at microgravity conditions are reviewed. There is no buoyancy and natural convection at microgravity condition, which will affect the fundamental process of combustion. Theoretical and experimental studies have shown that the flame structure, flame propagation and the stability of flame etc. at microgravity condition are quite different from that at normal gravity.
