  • The study on the formation of gas hydrate in deposit is mainly summarized. Firstly, the formation mechanism and study advances of bulk gas hydrate, including nucleation mechanism, armor effect and memory effect etc., are simply introduced. Secondly, the difficult and advances in the formation of gas hydrate with low-solubility gases such as methane, the effects of main factors such as pore size on the formation of gas hydrate in deposit are summarized. Thirdly, the main mathematical models on the kinetics of gas hydrate formation are simply introduced. At last, several study issues need to be studied further are highlighted.
