PROGRESS IN THE STUDIES OF ENERGY ABSORPTION BEHMIOR OF TEXTILE COMPOSITES

The energy absorption behavior of textile composites has been an attractive research topic in recent years. In this paper, the current research status and development on the energy absorption behavior of textile composite are reviewed, with emphases on fiber architectures, fab- rication processes, energy absorbing capacity and failure modes under impact load, as well as experimental methods for the energy absorption behavior of textile composites.
