ADVXNCES OF POSTERIORI ERROR ESTIMATION FOR FEM

There are two main types in finite element posterior error estimation, i.e. the residue and the postprocessing error estimation. The beginning, developments and recent advances of two types posterior error estimation are given in this paper in detail. Reviews is emphasis on the basis principle of ZZ error estimators and it's newly advances, some reviews on each method's advantages and disadvantages and future research is also given.
