ADVANCES IN BIOMECHANICAL RESEARCH OF CELL ADEHESION

This paper reviews anew research area in biomechanics the biomechanical researchof cell adhesion, including some basic concepts, the mechanical analysis methods and experimentalmethods. It is shown that the trend of biomechanical research on cell adhesion is from cellularmechanics to molecular mechanics and will go deep into microscopic mechanics in a near future.
