  • The bulk forming process involves complicated plastic large deformations with geometrical and material nonlinearity. By using the rigid-visco based CAE simulation techniques, themetal flowing law can be known. The paper presents a comprehensive review of the developmentof 3D simulation techniques for the bulk forming process, then, the paper summarizes the keytechniques, the technical difficulties and the development tendency of that field.
