Fracture size effects for concrete structures have been a very important field of civil engineering for more than ten years. In the paper the size dependency of some conventional fracture parameters are discussed,some tests on fracture process zone are described, the studies on size effect both in China and abroad are analyzed and reviewed. Some comments are made on the development trends of fracture size effect for concrete structures.
