ON THE SOME ADVANCES IN STUDIES OF STRUCTURAL DYNAMIC PLASTIC FAILURE

This paper presents recent advances in the studies of dynamic plastic failure of commonly used engineering structural elements (such as beams, plates,cylindrical shells, circular rings, and structures of sandwich or composite materlals), subjected to large dynamic loads over a short-duration.
