FLEXIBLE COMPOSITES AND THEIR APPLICATIONS

This article focuses on recent researches in flexible composites, which allow large deformation and exhibit nonlinear elastic behaviour. The analytical approaches are based on the classical laminate theory and nonlinear elastic mechanics. Among flexible composites are cord/rubber composites, coated fabrics and composites containing wavy fibers.
