The investigation on scattering of elastic waves by cracks is of essential importance in the elastodynamic theory itself and enjoys various applications in many practical problems such as QNDE. So this subject has been extensively studied in recent years and great progress has been made. In this paper, a comprehensive review on this subject is given.
