ADVANCES IN THEORETICAL AND APPLIED RESEARCH ON SEISMIC PORE WATER PRESSURE OF SATURATED SAND

This paper gives a brief look on the history and the practical back-ground of the research on seismic porc water pressure of saturated sand. Then some new advances in the theoretical and applicd research on scisinic pore water pressure with emphasis on several key subjects, such as the main influential factors, developing mechanism, calculating models and applications in practical engineering are reviewed systematically.
