Abstract

Abstract

Rock and soil materials consist of grains and pores. They arc natural porous media. The presence of pores strongly a＃ects mechanical, physical and chemical properties of the rock and soil materials. Research results indicate that the pore geometry of the rock and soil shows the fractal behavior over the range from atom scale to grain size. So far, fractal geometry has been widely applied to study the porosity, permeability and percolation properties of the rock and soil, and other materials. In this paper, ...
