Abstract: The main methods of to suppressing chaos, including those by random noise, by periodic perturbations, by a dynamical absorber, and by system variable feedback, are summarized. The general forms of those approaches are outlined. Some examples of the applications are presented. The problems to be investigated are pointed out.
