Abstract: The paper sums up the research significance, present situation and characteristics of bioheat transfer in the field of biomedical engineering and other related fields.It points out some problems to be solved and their perspective applications. The article also compares the advantages and disadvantages of the currently existing methods in constructing bioheat transfer models and the techniques in measuring biothermal properties.
