Abstract: The rapid increase of soil erosion poses a severe threat against the agriculture development and human ststenance and becomes one of the global environmental disasters. Hence, more and more attention has been attracted to the studies of soil erosion as well as to the prediction and control of erosion.In the present paper, a comprehensive literature survey is made on water erosion and the relevant investigation progress is analyzed and estimated.
