Abstract: The achievement and advance in the research for vibration buckling and impact buckling of structures is systematically reviewed. The dynamic buckling under step loadling, which is regarded as the extreme case in the impact buckling, is expounded. On the discussion of a dynamic buckling,the criteria and analytical methods are also discussed in general terms.
