  • This paper summarizes the reccut investigations on the optical trans-porting phenomenon through anisotropic and hetergencous Fiber reinforced com-positcs. With the use of a Laser-microscope Analyser, recent: study revealed that the polarizing optic behavior of optically heterogeneous fiber reinforced composites is quite different from that of homogeneous birefringent materials which are well defined and described by the conventional theory of Jone's matrix theory of photoelasticity.
