气相和微颗粒污染物在城市环境中的传输扩散

  • 通讯作者: Dr. Zheng-Tong Xie is an Associate Professor in the University of Southampton. As the PI, he has won a few awards from EPSRC, NCAS/NERC and ARCHER eCSE, and a few Studentships from industry, such as Arup and DSTL. These projects mainly focus on air pollutant dispersion and heat transfer in urban environments. So far he has published more than 30 papers in leading journals. He is a Fellow of the Royal Meteorology Society, and an Executive Committee member of the UK Wind Engineering Society. In 2012 he co-organised the UK Wind Engineering Conference and has been session chairman and scientic committee member in a number of international conferences and workshops. Zheng-Tong Xie studied for a Bachelor degree in Engineering Mechanics from 1986-1990 at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). He did his Masters degree in 1990-1992 (thesis: A numerical simulation of unsteady response to a gust for a wing-tail combination) and a PhD in 1992-1995 (thesis: Numerical simulations and water tunnel experiments for modelling hydrodynamic characteristics of cavitating axisymmetric bodies at small angles of attack), both at SJTU. He moved to Beijing to work as a Post Doctoral Researcher and was then promoted to Associate Professor at the Institute of Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, working on Large Eddy Simulations for atmospheric boundary layer flows (1995-2000). He has been continuing working on Large Eddy Simulations for air pollutant dispersion and wind engineering problems since then. 摘要:

城市大气边界层中污染物传输扩散, 包括气相和微颗粒(PM), 是一个日益关注的问题. 本文结合笔者及合著者近些年来的工作, 试图综述在这方面研究的最新进展. 主要包括: 天气尺度(meso-scale) 和街道尺度耦合的大涡模拟, 温度稳定性层结效应, 高层建筑的影响, 在极端天气下的污染物浓度极值的预报, 化学反应和湍流的耦合计算和气溶胶动力学过程. 本文侧重于介绍英国和欧洲的数值模型研究的进展情况.

Abstract:

Dispersion of gas and particulate matter (PM) pollutant in urban environments is a rising concern. Physical and numerical modelling is extremely challenging due to a number of parameters involved including the turbulence nature and complex physical and/or chemical processes. The paper attempts to review the latest advances on this topic. The major contents are: using generic geometry models to understand the mechanism, coupling meso-scale (weather scale) and micro-scale (street scale) lareg-eddy simulations, effects of thermal stratification, effects of tall buildings, modelling extreme pollutant concentration in extreme conditions and coupling chemistry with turbulence. This paper focuses more on the progress of the numerical model study in the UK and Europe.
